Aurora Chooses Afia Analytics for its Speed to Insights

Aurora Mental Health Center partners with Afia to take its data driven decision making to new heights

Aurora Mental Health Center (Aurora, Colorado) has continued its long-standing partnership with Afia by taking on a project to implement the Afia Analytics business intelligence platform. With a joint goal of getting to valuable insights as quickly as possible, Afia and AMHC targeted having the system live and a rich data environment accessible inside of 6 weeks.  In an industry where it can take months, or even years, to develop an analytics solution, 6 weeks to an enterprise platform is a significant competitive advantage.

As a result of the partnership, AMHC has gone live with its production data in only 24 business days after the connection was made to their EHR data!

This is an outstanding result for AMHC as they chart a course to develop a faster, more robust data infrastructure to answer critical business and clinical questions with near real time data.  “Afia’s value-add is their knowledge of behavioral health. Their rapid-response solutions for our data analytics were possible because they understand which treatment elements are critical to assessing delivery of quality care. This is what differentiates a partner from a vendor,” said Aurora Mental Health Center CEO, Kelly Phillips-Henry.
