Biography
Dr. Castillo is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating summa cum laude in 1998. She then returned to Pittsburgh and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine cum laude in 2002. Dr. Castillo completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan in 2005. Subsequently, she practiced Internal Medicine in Saline, serving as a clinical instructor for the University of Michigan Health System.Her clinical interests include preventative medicine and she finds the physician-patient relationship rewarding. She feels excited and blessed to be a part of Emmaus Health.
Dr. Castillo lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and daughter, and they recently welcomed a new baby girl into their family! They belong to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Ann Arbor. Dr. Castillo also volunteers at the Hope Medical Clinic in Ypsilanti, MI.
